These paper shims, which were the standard till this time, typically wore out quickly leading to squeaks and noise from vibrations. In 1965, Chevelle rubber core support bushings were introduced as the standard method to cure this common problem. Replacement of these 1965, 1966, 1967 Chevelle radiator core support bushing bushings can be done with minimal mechanical knowledge and basic tools in an afternoon. Our A-Body radiator core support bushings are made from high quality, extra firm rubber with the proper steel insert. Our steel inserts are carefully cut to factory specifications which are critical to proper crush during torque application. All new washers and nuts are included to replace the old warped, rusted and stretched units.
