From 1963 to 2004, one of the design elements contributing to the style of the Chevrolet Corvette has been hidden headlights. The Corvette appeared with pop-up headlights starting in 1968 and would keep the primary source of forward lighting out of sight in daylight for three generations of the sports car’s design. A component to the fourth generation (C4) Corvette that adopted a leaner dual hidden headlamp design in 1984, this left headlight motor is suitable for returning movement to the pop-up function for models produced between 1984 and 1987.
