Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, set the parking brake, and protect surrounding trim with masking tape as needed.
- Carefully pry away the old molding using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching the paint; remove any retaining clips or fasteners and set aside if reusable.
- Clean the windshield flange and surrounding area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and debris; allow to dry.
- If using adhesive, apply a thin bead recommended by the adhesive manufacturer to the flange. Align the new molding (WFS F4258) at one end of the windshield and begin pressing it into place along the flange.
- Work along the length of the molding, pressing firmly so any integrated clips engage. Reinstall any separate clips or fasteners removed earlier.
- Inspect the installation for gaps, ensure the molding sits flush and continuous, and allow any adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions before driving.
