Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and block front wheels.
- Raise the rear of the vehicle with a jack and support securely on jack stands.
- Remove the rear wheel on the side being serviced to access the sway bar link.
- Apply penetrating lubricant to the link mounting nuts/bolts if necessary and loosen fasteners while vehicle is supported.
- Remove the nuts/bolts attaching the sway bar link to the sway bar and suspension arm. Retain or discard old hardware per vehicle service recommendations.
- Compare the new link to the old unit to confirm correct orientation and length.
- Install the new rear left sway bar link into position and hand-thread the mounting hardware.
- Tighten the nuts/bolts to the vehicle manufacturer’s specified torque using a torque wrench.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the wheel lug nuts to spec.
- Test drive at low speed to confirm there are no unusual noises and that handling feels correct; recheck torque after initial drive.
