Front sway bar link for 2001-2019 Lexus and Toyota vehicles provides a direct replacement for worn or damaged stabilizer links. This front right/left hand link secures the anti-roll bar to the suspension, restoring cornering stability, reducing body roll, and improving handling response. Constructed from durable metal with robust ball-joint ends and protective boots, it resists corrosion and wear for long-lasting performance. Designed for straightforward fitment, it is ideal for routine maintenance, suspension rebuilds, or performance restoration to return steering and ride balance to factory specifications.
Features:
- Fits 2001–2019 Lexus and Toyota front suspension (right or left hand sway bar link applications).
- Solid metal construction with corrosion-resistant finish for extended service life.
- Ball-joint ends and protective dust boots reduce wear and keep contaminants out.
- Restores proper stabilizer bar connection to reduce body roll and improve handling.
- Direct-replacement part for repair, maintenance, or suspension restoration projects.
- Easy to install with common hand tools; no special presses required in most cases.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per side
Instructions:
- Park on level ground, engage parking brake, and place wheel chocks behind rear wheels.
- Loosen front wheel lug nuts slightly, raise the vehicle with a jack, and secure on jack stands. Remove the front wheel.
- Locate the sway bar link connecting the stabilizer bar to the control arm or strut.
- Apply penetrating oil to nuts and studs if corroded; allow to soak a few minutes.
- Hold the ball-joint stud with a wrench or hex key (if applicable) to prevent rotation and loosen the retaining nut(s).
- Remove the nuts and separate the old link from the sway bar and control arm/strut. A pry bar or pickle fork may help if seized.
- Compare the new sway bar link to the old unit to ensure correct length and orientation.
- Install the new link into place, inserting the studs into the sway bar and control arm/strut mounting holes.
- Thread the nuts by hand, then tighten to the manufacturer's specified torque with a torque wrench.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the wheel lug nuts to spec. Repeat on the other side if replacing both.
- Test drive at low speed to confirm proper handling and listen for any unusual noises, then recheck fastener torque after the first 100 miles.
