Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect painted surfaces with masking tape or a soft cloth.
- Carefully pry up the windshield molding/trim using a plastic trim tool or flathead screwdriver wrapped in tape to avoid damaging the finish.
- Remove any old or broken clips from the molding and vehicle body. Use penetrating oil and pliers for seized clips.
- Clean the molding channel and pinch points with a cloth and mild cleaner to remove debris and corrosion.
- Lay out the new clips from the kit and compare to original clips to ensure proper orientation and spacing.
- Install the new clips onto the molding or into the body channel as required by your vehicle — push each clip until it seats and clicks into place.
- Re-seat the windshield molding by aligning it with the clips and pressing firmly along its length; use a rubber mallet with a soft pad if needed to fully engage clips.
- Check the trim for even fit and proper alignment; gently tug on the molding to confirm all clips are secure.
- Replace any additional fasteners or trim pieces removed earlier and clean the area when finished.
