OE-style left-hand rocker panel with integrated step plate for 1955–1959 2nd Series Chevrolet pickup trucks. This replacement panel restores structural integrity to the lower body, aligns door sills and step areas, and protects against road debris and moisture intrusion. Built to factory contours for a correct fit and long-term durability, it simplifies restoration projects by providing a direct-fit, corrosion-resistant solution that improves safety and appearance.
Features:
- Fits 1955–1959 2nd Series Chevrolet (Chevy) pickup trucks — left-hand OE-style rocker panel with integrated step plate.
- Stamped heavy-gauge steel construction for strength and long service life.

Instructions:
- Inspect old rocker and surrounding metal; mark and photograph fitment for reference.
- Remove trim, threshold pieces and any hardware that interferes with panel removal.
- Cut out the rusted or damaged rocker section; preserve as much surrounding metal as possible.
- Clean mating surfaces of paint, rust and debris with grinder and wire wheel for good weld penetration.
- Test-fit the replacement rocker panel and step plate; trim as needed for gap and contour alignment.
- Clamp the panel in place and transfer any required drill points or tack locations.
- Weld the panel using continuous or plug welds per original factory pattern; avoid overheating and distortion.
- Grind welds smooth and dress seams; apply seam sealer to all joints to prevent moisture intrusion.
- Treat bare metal with rust inhibitor, prime the repaired area, and finish with paint to match vehicle.
- Reinstall trim and hardware, check door alignment and step operation, and perform a final inspection for secure fit and corrosion protection.
