Cast aluminum differential cover kit includes cover, vent, gasket, magnetic drain plug, and cover bolts. Cast aluminum differential cover will replace the stock heavy cast iron cover on cars with factory rear suspension. Ultra-light weighs only 12 pounds, nearly half the weight of the OE cover. Greatly improved cooling, along with extra webbing for greater strength. Also includes bosses to allow for plumbing an external cooler for extreme applications. The interior diameter of the cover is larger than the OE cover, allowing for installation of larger ring and pinion gears. Fits 1963-1977 Corvettes with stock factory rear suspension. This cover is for the 1963-1977, 2 1/4 inch wide spring.
