How to tell the difference between the T-Top weather stripping:

  • 70-77E Uses a separate retainer to attach weatherstrip to side of T-Top panel. Has double latch over side door glass and uses 19 fasteners.
  • 77L-82 Uses a built-in metal retainer to attach weatherstrip to side of panel. Has a single latch and uses 18 fasteners.
  • Latex weatherstrip will not push out or bind T-Tops due to its softness and forms to the car better, not only giving you a better fit and creating a tighter seal, but it looks just like the original GM Weatherstrip. Other weatherstrips you see are an EPDM rubber. These are a correct reproduction of the original, a denser sponge rubber with a smooth coating to ensure longevity.
