Instructions:

- Press or squeeze the speed nut into place until it snaps or seats solidly on the sheet metal (use pliers if necessary).
- Install the trim or emblem and start the screw by hand to allow the speed nut to cut threads; then tighten to a snug, factory-appropriate torque. Do not over-tighten.
- Repeat for all mounting points, check alignment and fit, and re-tighten if necessary after initial settling.
- If a stud is excessively corroded or damaged, replace the stud before installing a new speed nut.
