OER® reproduction of the original convertible top hold down/side tension cables designed for various GM convertible models. These precision-made cables run through the long pocket built into each side of the convertible top, with one cable routed down the driver side and the other down the passenger side. Their function is to hold the sides of the convertible top securely to the top frame, preventing the material from flaring out or flapping due to outside air pressure. Each cable measures approximately 31-1/4" in length. Sold as a pair.
