The Precision Glass Run Channel GRB 1110 76 is a direct-fit window run that secures, guides and seals a vehicle's door glass to reduce wind noise, prevent water intrusion, and ensure smooth, consistent window operation. Constructed from durable rubber with an integrated reinforcement for shape retention, this channel restores proper glass alignment and helps eliminate rattles and vibration. Verify part number GRB 1110 76 against your vehicle's application to ensure fitment before purchase.
Features:
- Constructed from weather-resistant rubber with internal reinforcement for long-lasting shape and performance.
- Guides and seals door glass to reduce wind noise, water leaks, and window vibration.
- OEM-style profile for accurate glass alignment and smooth up/down operation.
- Resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes to prevent cracking and shrinkage.
- Ideal for restoration and replacement applications to return doors to factory fit and finish.
- Straightforward installation — designed to be fitted using common hand tools.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 60-90 minutes
Instructions:
- Disconnect the battery (if necessary for power windows) and roll the window to the position specified by the vehicle service manual to access the channel ends.
- Remove the interior door panel and any vapor/water barrier to expose the glass and run channel.
- Lower or raise the glass as needed so you can access and free the portion of the old run channel; support the glass with tape if required.
- Carefully pull or pry out the old run channel, taking care not to damage the glass edge or door frame. Remove any retained clips or fasteners.
- Clean the channel seating area and track of any adhesive, dirt, or corrosion; wipe dry with a rag and solvent.
- Test-fit the new GRB 1110 76 channel, align it with the top and bottom stops, and begin installing from one end. Press the channel into the door flange, ensuring the reinforcement seats fully.
- If specified by the vehicle, apply adhesive sparingly to secure the channel; otherwise use the provided clips or factory retainers.
- Lubricate the inner lips of the channel with silicone lubricant or window grease to aid smooth glass movement.
- Reposition the glass into the new channel and cycle the window several times by hand (or with power) to confirm smooth operation and correct alignment.
- Reinstall the vapor barrier, interior door panel, and any fasteners. Perform a final check for leaks and wind noise while operating the window.
