- Made from premium, weather-resistant rubber designed to resist UV, ozone, and temperature extremes.
- Seals door edges to prevent water leaks, reduce wind noise, and improve climate control efficiency.
- OEM-style profile and fit for a factory-like restoration and appearance.
- Simple installation with basic hand tools; trims cleanly for exact fit when needed.
- Durable construction for long service life and reliable sealing on restored or maintained vehicles.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out retainers and any metal clips using a trim tool or flat screwdriver.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly: remove old adhesive, dirt, and debris; wipe with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry.
- Dry-fit the new seal pieces along the door edge to confirm orientation and length; trim excess with a sharp utility knife if necessary.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or seal per adhesive instructions; some seals seat without adhesive.
- Press the seal into the channel starting at one end and work toward the other, making sure the retaining lip fully engages. Use painter's tape or clamps to hold the seal in place if adhesive is used.
- Carefully form and tuck corners and ends so the seal lies flush and continuous; trim or notch at corners for a neat fit.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions (if used), remove temporary tape/clamps, then close and test the door for proper fit, operation, and sealing.
