The BC Cruiser consoles are available in four sizes. All four versions are best suited for full-size, full-width cars and trucks. They differ only in length and height.
The contoured bottom of our BC console is uniquely shaped to match the general profile of most bench seats. As a result the console sits naturally on the seat and offers a very comfortable position for the driver’s arm. Standard features include two large drink holders, padded armrest, storage compartment under the armrest and a simple but effective strapping system.
Note: The difference between the BC Cruiser style and BD Drinkster style is the width. Both designs fit bench seats but the BC works best in full-width cars and trucks.
The BC console series are the wider of the two bench seat styles offered by Classic Consoles (BD Drinkster being the other, more narrow style). Originally designed and developed for full size, or rather full-width cars and trucks where interior space is generally not an issue, the BC console offers premium comfort to drivers and passengers in any vehicle with a bench seat. BC bench seat consoles are a great addition to the back seat too, the back-seat drivers will appreciate your thoughtful accommodations and hopefully, prevent unwanted beverage spills.
Installation is so fast and simple, instructions may not be needed, but here they are. Place the console anywhere on the bench seat that works best for you, that’s it! If that was too easy and you feel like there should’ve been more effort involved then take the included nylon strap, wrap it behind and under the seat, loop it through the buckle at the front of the console and cinch down for a firm hold.
The drink holders in our consoles are made from durable, long-lasting polymers that will provide many, many years of functionality while retaining the striking appearance you expect from Classic Consoles. All drink holders come standard with a black finish around the top rim. The top rim is the area of the drink holder predominately seen when the console is installed in your vehicle so we offer you the option of four additional distinct colors & finishes to customize your console or match the existing trim package of your vehicle’s interior.
Our large-sized drink holders are included with this console, they accommodate virtually all types of soda & energy drink cans, most plastic water bottles and larger coffee cups. The bottom half of our large drink holders have a unique step down shape to allow smaller drink containers a secure hold while the upper half is large enough to hold bigger beverages with larger diameters.
You also have an option to upgrade the Large Drink Holders in this console to our brand new Mega Drink Holder. The Mega Drink holder is specifically designed to hold large, insulated beverage containers by maintaining a wide diameter from top to bottom and does not “step down" like the Large Drink Holder. We built the Mega Drink Holder as a special request from many of our great customers who wanted a better fitting drink holder for their large insulated mugs, like many of the Yeti styles.
