Instructions:
- Ensure the vehicle or equipment is off, cooled down, and any pressurized system is safely depressurized.
- Locate and remove the old connector. Use a utility knife or hose cutter to make clean, square cuts to hose ends if replacing.
- Verify the connector barb diameter matches the inner diameter (ID) of your hoses. Trim hoses if needed for a snug fit.
- Slide hose clamps onto each hose before fitting the connector.
- Apply a small amount of lubricant (soapy water or silicone spray) to the barb if necessary, then push each hose fully onto the corresponding barb until seated.
- Position clamps over the barbed area and tighten securely with a screwdriver or clamp pliers. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the hose.
- Repressurize or refill the system if needed, then run and inspect for leaks. Retighten clamps if any seepage appears.
