Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and lock the steering; remove any accessories that block door access.
- Carefully remove the interior door panel: remove screws and fasteners, then use a trim tool to disengage clips.
- Peel back the door vapor barrier as needed to access the handle linkage and mounting area.
- Disconnect the door handle linkage rod from the handle by removing the retaining clip(s) with needle-nose pliers.
- Unfasten the handle assembly mounting screws or bolts from the interior of the door and remove the old handle.
- Compare the new handle to the old unit; transfer any gaskets or trim pieces if applicable.
- Position the new right-side handle in the door opening and secure it with the original mounting hardware or supplied fasteners.
- Reconnect the linkage rod and secure with the retaining clip; ensure the rod is properly seated and the clip is tight.
