Instructions:
- Open the hood and locate the cowl panel clips along the windshield base.
- If present, remove any trim or weatherstrip covering the clip heads.
- Use a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver to gently pry up the clip head or center pin; remove the old clip body from the mounting hole.
- Clean the mounting hole of dirt and debris with a clean rag to ensure proper seating.
- Align the cowl panel or trim piece with the mounting holes and push the new clip body into the hole until the head seats flush.
- If the clip has a locking pin, press the pin fully into place to lock the clip.
- Verify the cowl panel is secure and re-install any removed trim or weatherseal. Close the hood and check for proper alignment and fit.
