This tailgate trim band panel with “GMC” lettering is an OEM-style replacement designed for 1975–1980 GMC C/K Wideside Sierra Classic Pickup models and 1975–1980 GMC Jimmy High Sierra models without removable hardtop on the Squarebody platform, including C/15 applications where equipped. Installed across the tailgate outer panel, this trim band restores the factory appearance and model identification detail specific to Sierra Classic and High Sierra trim levels during this period. Manufactured to factory specifications for configuration and finish, it is intended for classic restoration and exterior refinishing of 1975–1980 GMC C/K Wideside pickup and Jimmy applications.

Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
