Direct-fit windshield lower molding for 2023-2025 Honda CR-V designed to restore the factory seal and appearance at the base of the windshield. This molding secures the windshield edge, helps prevent water intrusion and wind noise, and protects the pinch weld and trim from debris and UV damage. Engineered to OEM dimensions from durable, weather-resistant materials, it resists cracking, shrinking, and fading for long-term reliability and is supplied for straightforward replacement during glass or trim repair.
Features:
  • Fits 2023-2025 Honda CR-V models — direct-fit windshield lower molding (WLM F5915).
  • Made from UV- and weather-resistant rubber/plastic blend for long service life.
  • Seals the windshield base to prevent leaks, reduce wind noise, and keep out debris.
  • Restores factory appearance and protects underlying metal and trim from corrosion.
  • Designed for easy installation as part of glass replacement or trim restoration.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Plastic trim removal tool
  • Flat-blade screwdriver (wrapped to protect finish)
  • Razor blade or plastic scraper
  • Isopropyl alcohol and clean lint-free cloths
  • Automotive adhesive or windshield molding primer/sealant (if required)
  • Heat gun or hair dryer (optional, for cold weather)
Instructions:
  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and open the hood to access the molding edges.
  2. Carefully pry up the old lower molding with a plastic trim tool, working along the length to release clips without bending or denting the pinch weld.
  3. Remove any remaining clips or fasteners and scrape away old adhesive and residue with a razor blade or plastic scraper; clean the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
  4. Dry-fit the new molding along the windshield base to confirm alignment and clip/retainer locations before applying any adhesive.
  5. If the molding uses adhesive or primer, apply the recommended primer/sealant per product instructions to the mounting surface and/or molding.
  6. Starting at one end, press the molding firmly into place, engaging clips or retainers and working along the length to ensure consistent seating; use a heat gun briefly in cold conditions to improve flexibility.
  7. Wipe away any excess sealant immediately and reinstall any trim or fasteners removed earlier.
  8. Allow adhesive/sealant to cure per manufacturer recommendations before driving or washing the vehicle. Check for proper sealing and adjust if needed.
