Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, engage parking brake, and wear safety gear.
- Carefully pry out the old windshield molding using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching paint; save any reusable clips.
- Remove any adhesive residue and clean the channel with rubbing alcohol; allow to dry completely.
- Inspect and replace any damaged clips or retainers before installing the new molding.
- Align the new WFS F2076 molding to the windshield edge and beginning at one corner, press it into the flange channel.
- Work around the perimeter, seating the molding firmly and ensuring clips engage; use pliers for clips if needed.
- If specified or necessary, apply a small amount of weatherstrip adhesive at the corners or ends to lock the molding in place.
- Trim excess material if required and perform a final check for gaps, proper seating, and even fit.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions (if used) and test for leaks by gently spraying water around the windshield once cured.
