Precision 2007-2011 Honda CR-V Windshield Top Molding WFT F2707 is a direct-fit replacement trim piece that seals and finishes the top edge of the windshield. Designed to restore factory appearance and maintain a watertight, wind-noise-free seal, this durable molding protects the windshield edge from road debris, UV damage, and moisture intrusion. Constructed from weather-resistant materials with OEM-style attachment points, it offers reliable long-term performance and straightforward installation for restoration or repair projects on 2007–2011 Honda CR-V models.
Features:
- Fits 2007-2011 Honda CR-V (top windshield molding).
- Made from weather-resistant, UV-stable materials for long-lasting durability.
- Restores factory appearance while sealing windshield edges to prevent leaks and reduce wind noise.
- OEM-style clips/retainers for secure, vibration-resistant fitment.
- Easy installation — direct-fit replacement for restoration or maintenance tasks.
- Resists cracking, warping, and fading from temperature extremes and sunlight.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and ensure the windshield area is cool and dry.
- Carefully pry up the old top molding starting at one end using a plastic trim tool; work along the length to disengage OEM clips. Use a wrapped flat-blade screwdriver only where necessary to avoid scratching the body.
- Remove any remaining clips or metal retainers and set aside if reusing; discard damaged clips and replace as needed.
- Thoroughly clean the windshield flange and cowl area with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and oils. Allow to dry completely.
- If weather is cold, gently warm the new molding with a heat gun or hair dryer to increase flexibility (do not overheat).
- Align the new molding with the top edge of the windshield, engaging one end first. Press the molding into place along the windshield edge, seating each clip/retainer until you hear or feel them snap into position.
- Double-check that the molding is fully seated and continuous along the entire length with no gaps. Reinstall any removed trim or retainers.
- Inspect the seal for even contact and test for wind noise by driving at low speed; check for water leaks after the next rain or perform a gentle water test with a hose.
- If any clips are loose or damaged, remove the section and replace clips before reseating the molding.
