Upper windshield molding designed for 2018–2025 Honda Odyssey models that secures and seals the top edge of the windshield. This molding prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise and vibration, and restores a factory-fit appearance after windshield service or trim replacement. Constructed for long-lasting performance and easy direct-fit installation, it’s an ideal replacement for worn, cracked, or missing upper windshield trim during repairs or cosmetic restoration.
Features:
- Fitment: 2018–2025 Honda Odyssey (upper windshield molding).
- Durable EPDM rubber construction with corrosion-resistant retainers for long service life.
- Seals top windshield edge to prevent water leaks, reduce wind noise, and minimize vibration.
- Direct-fit replacement restores factory alignment and appearance after repairs.
- Simple installation — designed for reliable, repeatable fit during windshield or trim replacement.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30–60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a flat surface and protect paint and interior with drop cloths or tape.
- If applicable, remove any trim clips or retainers along the top windshield edge with a trim tool or pliers.
- Gently warm the old molding (heat gun or hair dryer on low) to soften adhesive or weathered rubber, making removal easier.
- Carefully pry and slide the old molding out of the channel using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching glass or paint.
- Clean the windshield channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to remove adhesive, dirt, and debris. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding without removing any backing. Align center, then work toward the edges to ensure correct positioning.
- If clips are provided, press the molding into the channel until each clip or retainer seats. For adhesive-backed designs, apply appropriate urethane or contact adhesive per manufacturer instructions.
- Use masking tape to hold the molding in place while any adhesive sets (if used). Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately.
- Inspect the seal and trim alignment; adjust as needed. Reinstall any removed trim or fasteners.
- Allow recommended cure time for adhesive (if used) before driving. Check for leaks and wind noise after a short test drive.
