Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, turn off vehicle, and protect paint with fender covers.
- Carefully pry up the end of the old side molding using a plastic trim removal tool to avoid scratching paint.
- Remove any visible screws or fasteners (Phillips or Torx) and unclip the molding from its channel. Keep removed clips if reusable.
- Clean the windshield flange and channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive, and residue.
- Compare the new molding to the old one and transfer any reusable clips or install new clips supplied with the part.
- Position the new molding at the top edge and align with the windshield flange; gently press the molding into the channel working from one end to the other.
- Secure any screws or fasteners removed earlier, and if recommended, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive in concealed areas for extra hold.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive, allow adhesive to cure per product instructions (if used), then inspect the seal for gaps and test for wind noise or leaks.
