Precision Windshield Molding WFS 203 is a replacement windshield trim designed to restore the original seal and appearance around your vehicle's windshield. Made from durable, weather-resistant rubber with a factory-style profile, this molding secures the glass, helps prevent water intrusion, reduces wind noise, and protects the pinch-weld from corrosion. Built for reliability and long service life, WFS 203 is suitable for restoration and repair projects — verify vehicle-specific fitment before purchase to ensure compatibility.
Features:
- Check vehicle-specific fitment prior to purchase to confirm compatibility with your year, make and model.
- Durable EPDM-style rubber construction for long-lasting resistance to UV, ozone and temperature extremes.
- Factory-profile design restores original appearance and sealing performance.
- Helps prevent water leaks, reduces wind noise and protects the windshield pinch-weld from corrosion.
- Compatible with adhesive or clip-style installations depending on vehicle application.
- Easy to trim and seat for a clean, professional-looking installation during restorations or routine replacement.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 45 minutes to 2 hours
Instructions:
- Park on a flat surface and protect surrounding bodywork with fender covers or towels.
- If necessary, support or remove the windshield using suction cups and follow vehicle-specific procedures to avoid glass damage.
- Carefully pry out and remove the old molding using a trim removal tool; keep or remove old clips depending on condition.
- Clean the molding channel and pinch-weld thoroughly with a degreaser or isopropyl alcohol; remove old adhesive residue and rust.
- Inspect the glass edge and pinch-weld for damage or corrosion; repair as needed before installing new molding.
- If the vehicle uses adhesive or primer, apply primer per manufacturer instructions and allow to flash as recommended.
- Position the new WFS 203 molding at the top center of the windshield and work outward and downward, pressing the molding into the channel. Replace or install clips as required.
- Use a rubber mallet or gloved hand to seat the molding fully into place; apply heat lightly in cold conditions to improve flexibility.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife for a precise fit and reinstall any removed trim pieces or weatherstrips.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions (if used), then perform a water test to check for leaks and confirm a secure seal.
