At the Fisher Body Plant, your Nova body goes through a chemical bath which requires full submergence, and having holes scattered throughout the floor and trunk allows these chemicals to drain out when the body is pulled from the tank. These reproduction drain plates are not merely replacement plates, but properly stamped units made from correct gauge steel and galvanized for added corrosion protection. Six of these are required for proper installation on your Nova. Remember to apply the proper body seam sealer during installation, which is offered separately.
