All stock hoods are duplicates of the originals, with careful attention given to all details. All hoods are of the same gauge metal as the originals. STOCK AND STREET ROD HOOD NOTE

The complete hoods and hood sections we offer are manufactured by Rootlieb, and are superior quality. Complete original hoods come complete with hinge rod and handles. Street Rod hoods come in a 4-piece (two piece top and sides) design, or a 3-piece (one piece top and sides) design. Three-piece hoods do not come with hidden hinges. For the fussy restorer or for the car show restoration, we recommend these hoods.



• UPON ARRIVAL AND PRIOR TO FINISHING, ALWAYS VERIFY THE SIZE AND FIT.

• Depending on stock status, these hoods may be drop-shipped directly from the factory.

• We recommend the 1932 type center hinge for Street Rods (easy opening, no chipping).

• The 1932 grille shell fits the shape of the original 1930-1931 hoods. It also fits a 1930-1931 radiator without the filler neck on top.

• Hoods come chemically treated.

• 3-piece hoods have lips on the top and sides that face in for hidden hinge mechanisms.

• The 2-piece top for a 4-piece hood includes a center hinge rod or assembly.

• The sides for a 4-piece original type hood include the hinge rods and handles.

• Some minor metal shrinking or finishing may be required on the front edge of later hoods.
