This hood is tough looking! It is made to match your Comet's original shape and dimensions. One nice feature is that while many want this type of hood for looks, the Ram Air box can be opened up in many ways to become functional. If you choose to use this hood with hinges you will need to drill it for the bolts and tap the holes. Since it is lighter than the steel hood you will want to use springs with reduced tension. Those can be sourced, or the originals can be carefully heated until perfect. It can also be a lift-off hood with pins in each corner. As with all fiberglass body parts, best results are achieved by test-fitting and focusing on the details before painting. Install this hood and pay homage to those heady days of 1960s drag racing!
