Once upon a time, the only way to obtain this hood was to purchase the entire vehicle from a Yenko dealership. This fiberglass reproduction is an exact duplicate of the original hood installed on all 1968 Yenko SYC 427 Camaro models equipped with the original-style open element air cleaner. It can also be installed on any 1967-1969 Camaro for a retro performance or custom appearance. Designed to mount using the original hood hinges, this hood eliminates the factory front hood latch and instead requires hood pins (available separately).
Important: Not for use with original hood latch assembly. Hood pins recommended. Hood pin mounting locations are not scored. Customer must mark and drill holes on his own..
