Ideal for restorations or routine maintenance, the kit provides a reliable, easy-to-install solution that enhances safety and long-term durability.
Features:
  • Fits 1967–1982 GM cars with manual transmissions (clutch and brake pedal applications).
  • Durable molded rubber pads for improved grip and wear resistance.
  • Includes corrosion-resistant metal trim pieces to restore factory appearance.
  • Designed for direct fit over existing pedal arms — no major modification required.
  • Simple, tool-assisted installation for quick restoration or replacement.
  • Helps prevent pedal wear and reduces slippage for safer operation.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Clean rag
  • Isopropyl alcohol or mild cleaner
  • Lubricant spray (optional, silicone)
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground, set parking brake, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if working near electrical components.
  2. Remove any existing worn pedal pads by prying off rubber pads or removing retaining clips with a flathead screwdriver and pliers.
  3. Clean the pedal surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or mild cleaner and a rag; remove dirt, grease, and old adhesive residue.
  4. If the kit includes metal trim rings or retaining washers, position them on the pedal arm per the kit diagram or orientation guide.
  5. Stretch the new rubber pedal pad over the pedal face, aligning any recesses or locating tabs; use a small amount of silicone lubricant if needed to ease installation.
  6. Seat the pad fully against the pedal and secure any included clips or fasteners to retain the pad and trim.
  7. Verify that the pads do not interfere with pedal travel or operation; press the pedals repeatedly to confirm secure fit and full range of motion.
  8. Reinstall any removed components, reconnect the battery if disconnected, and perform a short test drive to confirm proper function and comfort.
