Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and ensure the work area is well lit.
- Identify the clip or fastener type and choose the appropriate fork angle on the tool.
- Slide the forked tip under the clip head or around the retainer base until it seats against the panel.
- Holding the panel steady with your other hand, use the tool as a lever and apply steady upward pressure to pry the clip straight out.
- If the clip is stuck, apply a small amount of penetrating lubricant, wait a minute, then work the tool gently back and forth until the clip releases.
- Inspect the removed clip and the panel hole; replace the clip if damaged and reinstall new retainers as needed.
- Store the tool in your toolbox for future trim, molding, and fastener work.
