Instructions:
- Lower the window and remove the door panel and any trim pieces that obstruct access to the glass run channel.
- Carefully detach the window from the regulator if necessary and prop or secure the glass in a safe position.
- Remove the old glass run channel by pulling it out of the channel slot; use a trim tool to free any retained clips or adhesive.
- Clean the channel mounting area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a mild cleaner and dry completely.
- Apply a light coat of silicone lubricant or soapy water to the new channel to aid installation and protect the rubber.
- Install the new channel by aligning it with the slot and pressing it evenly into place; ensure left/right orientation is correct.
- Re-seat the glass into the new channel and check for smooth travel and proper alignment.
- Reattach the window to the regulator (if removed), reinstall the door panel and trim, then test the window operation and check for leaks or wind noise.
