Replacement water temperature sending unit with 3/8"- 18 NPT thread. This brass sensor screws into intake manifold to activate the temperature gauge in the dash. This is an accurate reproduction of the original part for various 1967-69 Ford and Mercury models with V8 engine and temperature gauge in the dash. However, you can use this temperature sending unit on a wide variety of 1965-69 Mustang models with gauges as a service part.
Note: Replaces Ford Part #: C6DZ-10884-B (SW-552) or C9WY-10884-A (SW-888). Designed for 1965 models that were built after Sept. 1st 1965. The 1969 351 Windsor temperature sending unit is obsolete. This temperature sending unit is recommended as the closest replacement.
