Radiator mounting hardware kit for 1967-1969 Camaro and Firebird and 1968-1972 Nova. Designed to securely fasten the radiator to the core support, this kit replaces worn or missing fasteners and isolators to restore proper alignment, reduce vibration, and prevent radiator damage. Durable, corrosion-resistant components provide reliable long-term performance and make installation straightforward during restoration or routine maintenance.
Features:
  • Fits 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Firebird; 1968-1972 Chevrolet Nova.
  • Includes corrosion-resistant plated steel fasteners and durable rubber isolators to resist rust and wear.
  • Secures the radiator to the core support to maintain correct alignment and prevent movement.
  • Reduces vibration and noise while protecting hoses and the radiator from stress-related damage.
  • Bolt-on replacement ideal for restorations, repairs, or refreshing original hardware for a factory look.
  • Easy to install with common hand tools — designed as a direct-fit replacement for classic models.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Ratchet and socket set
  • Combination wrenches
  • Flathead or Phillips screwdriver (as required)
  • Pliers
  • Floor jack with wood block or radiator support prop
  • Torque wrench (recommended)
Instructions:
  1. Allow engine to cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Drain coolant to a safe level or support the radiator from below to prevent spillage; place a drain pan if needed.
  3. Remove any components obstructing access to the radiator mounting points (fan shroud, fan, grille, etc.).
  4. Support the radiator using a floor jack with a wood block or a suitable prop so the radiator is slightly lifted off the mounts.
  5. Remove old mounting hardware and isolators from the core support and radiator lower/upper brackets.
  6. Install new rubber isolators into the core support or radiator brackets as specified by the kit layout.
  7. Position the radiator on the isolators and install the plated fasteners and brackets supplied in the kit. Hand-thread all fasteners to ensure proper alignment.
  8. Tighten fasteners evenly to snug — if torque specs are available for your vehicle, use a torque wrench to finish to spec.
  9. Reinstall any removed components (fan, shroud, grille) and reconnect hoses or fittings if disturbed.
  10. Refill coolant, reconnect the battery, start the engine, and check for proper radiator alignment, secure mounting, and leaks. Re-torque fasteners after a short test drive if necessary.
