Correct reproduction of the original carburetor base plate screen designed for use with 1969 Firebird and Trans Am models with Ram Air III, or Ram Air IV. The screen sits on top of the carburetor to keep debris out of the carb when the hood is up. Also helps to prevent an underhood fire in the event of a backfire.
