Reproduction fuel tank for 1970-1974 Chevrolet Corvette models. Each fuel tank is manufactured in quality stamped steel to original factory dimensions featuring a heavy zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Includes filler neck screw set, filler neck cork gasket, sending unit lock ring and sending unit retaining cam. (fuel sender sold separately). Features flat metal vent valve on top, driver side (LH) tube, passenger side (RH) fuel return line, and bracket for EEC. Interchange # GM33D.
The EEC system is a method of controlling HC emissions by collecting fuel vapors from the fuel tank and carburetor fuel bowl vents and directing them into an engine intake manifold.
