Reproduction of the original style 18-gallon fuel tank designed for use with 1971-76 Dodge Dart, Plymouth Duster, Valiant, Scamp, and Demon models with single vent EEC (evaporative emission control). Each fuel tank is manufactured in quality stamped steel to factory specifications featuring a zinc coating offering long-lasting dependability. Includes the lock ring and o-ring gasket for the fuel sender. This tank is designed for later EEC systems with a single vent tube on the front of the tank. Does not include fuel sender or fuel filler neck grommet (available separately).
The EEC system is a method of controlling HC emissions by collecting fuel vapors from the fuel tank and carburetor fuel bowl vents and directing them into an engine intake manifold.
