Reproduction "first-design" die-cast outer door handle for 1979-93 Mustang, 1979-86 Mercury Capri and a wide variety of additional Ford and Mercury models. Manufactured in die-cast metal to 1979-84 Ford factory specifications, featuring the correct shape and finish for proper fitment and appearance.
After 1984, Ford produced the exterior handles in plastic instead of die-cast metal. Our OER-Authorized reproduction handle is produced in quality die-cast metal based on the earlier Ford design, but will fit and function properly on all 1979-93 Mustang and 1979-86 Capri models for a better than OE quality, longer life, and superior durability when compared to the later "second design" plastic handle that is now obsolete and no longer available.
