Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, set the parking brake, and wear gloves and eye protection.
- Carefully pry up one end of the old molding using plastic trim tools; work slowly to avoid damaging paint or glass.
- Remove any retaining clips or adhesive residue; use a wrapped flat-head screwdriver for stubborn clips and clean the channel with isopropyl alcohol.
- Dry-fit the new WFS F5083 molding to confirm alignment and clip locations before final installation.
- If applicable, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per adhesive instructions.
- Align the molding with the windshield edge and press firmly along its length, engaging clips or tabs into factory mounting points.
- Inspect the seal for full engagement and smooth fit; trim any excess if necessary and wipe away excess adhesive.
- Allow adhesive to cure as directed (if used) and check for leaks after the vehicle has been parked for several hours.
- If windshield removal is required or if you are unsure, have the installation performed by a qualified technician to avoid glass or paint damage.
