A 4-piece left and right beltline molding kit designed to restore and secure the exterior window beltline on compatible 1964 vehicles using the WFK 3110 profile. These precision-shaped moldings replace worn or damaged trim, protect the sheetmetal edge, and re-establish a factory-fit appearance. Finished with a corrosion-resistant coating, the kit improves sealing, reduces wind noise and vibration, and provides long-lasting durability for restoration or maintenance projects.
Features:
- Fitment: Compatible with 1964 vehicles using the WFK 3110 beltline profile.
- Four-piece set includes left and right hand upper/lower beltline moldings.
- Corrosion-resistant metal construction with a factory-style finish for durability.
- Secures and aligns window trim, protects body edges, and reduces wind noise/vibration.
- Direct replacement for worn or damaged beltline trim—ideal for restorations.
- Easy to test-fit and install with basic hand tools; designed for reliable, long-term performance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, lower windows slightly (if applicable), and disconnect the battery if working near electrical components.
- Carefully remove the existing beltline moldings: use a trim tool or flat screwdriver to disengage retention clips or screws. Keep any reusable hardware.
- Inspect and clean the mounting flange and channel. Remove old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion; treat bare metal with rust inhibitor or primer if needed.
- Dry-fit each new molding to confirm orientation and fit. Use masking tape to hold pieces temporarily if required.
- Apply a thin bead of OEM-style adhesive/sealant or retainers where the original used adhesive (only if required by your vehicle).
- Align the molding to the beltline, press into place, and seat any clips or fasteners. Tap gently with a rubber mallet to ensure even contact without marring the finish.
- Reinstall any screws or trim hardware. Wipe away excess sealant immediately with a clean rag and solvent.
- Allow any adhesive/sealant to cure per manufacturer recommendations before driving. Re-check fasteners and fit after initial road use.
