Precision 1947-1950 Chevrolet Truck Beltline Molding, Outer Left or Right Hand (WFB 1110 47) restores the clean, finished edge where the door meets the body on classic Chevy pickup trucks. This outer beltline molding secures and conceals the seam along the door/window beltline, channels water away from the door edge, reduces wind noise, and returns the vehicle to a factory-correct appearance. Precision-formed for an exact OE-style fit, it offers durable, corrosion-resistant surface protection and dependable long-term wear for restoration or replacement projects.
Features:
  • Fits 1947–1950 Chevrolet pickup trucks — outer left or right hand beltline molding (WFB 1110 47).
  • Precision-formed profile for an OE-style, exact-fit replacement.
  • Durable, corrosion-resistant finish protects the body edge and resists weathering.
  • Secures and conceals the door/window beltline seam while reducing wind noise and water intrusion.
  • Ideal for restoration projects or replacing damaged, bent, or missing trim.
  • Easy to install with common trim tools and basic hand tools; sold individually (left or right).
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 45–90 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Trim removal tool or small flat screwdriver
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Pliers
  • Masking tape
  • Cleaning solvent and rags
  • Drill and drill bits (if old fasteners use drilled holes)
  • Pop rivet gun or appropriate fasteners (clips/screws) as required
  • Rubber mallet
  • Safety glasses
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface and wear safety glasses. Open the door to access the beltline area.
  2. Carefully remove the old molding: pry out trim clips or unscrew fasteners using a trim tool or screwdriver. Keep any reusable clips or note locations for replacement.
  3. Clean the beltline channel and mating surfaces with solvent to remove old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion. Dry thoroughly.
  4. Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to verify orientation (outer left or right) and overall fit. Trim the molding if necessary to exact length.
  5. If the molding uses clips, install new clips onto the molding at the same spacing as the original. If the vehicle requires screws or rivets, align the molding and mark hole locations with masking tape.
  6. Starting at one end, press the molding into the channel or engage clips one-by-one. For screw or rivet installations, secure fasteners at marked locations. Use a rubber mallet to seat the molding evenly if needed.
  7. Check alignment and make any minor adjustments so the molding sits flush and follows the body contour.
  8. Wipe the molding and surrounding area clean. Reinstall any interior trim removed during the process and close the door to confirm proper fit and operation.
