Instructions:
- Prepare the vehicle: park on a level surface, lower the window to a position where the mounting points are accessible. If the vehicle has power windows, disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid accidental operation.
- Remove the interior door panel and any vapor/moisture barriers to expose the regulator and glass mounting area. Keep screws and clips organized.
- Support the glass securely with masking tape, suction cup, or a helper so it cannot fall or shift while hardware is removed.
- Locate and remove the fasteners and/or clips that secure the existing door glass hardware. Carefully note orientation and any shims or spacers for reassembly.
- Remove the old hardware and clean the mounting surfaces. Inspect the regulator and glass run channels for wear or obstructions.
- Install the new PHP DD21 1440 hardware in the same orientation as the original parts. Apply a light coat of grease or dry lubricant to sliding surfaces and bushings where indicated.
- Reattach the glass to the new hardware and loosely install fasteners. Adjust glass alignment so it sits square in the window frame, then tighten fasteners to secure the assembly.
- Reconnect the power window connector or battery (if disconnected) and carefully cycle the window to confirm smooth travel, correct alignment, and absence of binding or noise. Make final adjustments as needed.
- Reinstall the moisture barrier and interior door panel. Verify operation one final time and inspect for any loose hardware or interference.
