Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, lower window slightly if possible, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if required by vehicle.
- Remove the interior door panel: pry off trim pieces, remove screws, and gently lift the panel away from the door, taking care not to damage clips or wiring.
- Support the door glass using masking tape or suction cups to hold it in the fully up position, or have an assistant hold the glass.
- Locate and remove the fasteners securing the existing glass hardware or guide; note the orientation and any shims or spacers for reassembly.
- Carefully detach the old hardware from the glass or regulator and remove it from the door.
- Install the new PHP DD26 1507 hardware in the same orientation as the original, transferring any shims or spacers as required.
- Tighten fasteners to a snug fit (avoid over-torquing), then slowly lower and raise the window to confirm smooth travel and correct alignment.
- Reassemble the door panel and trim in reverse order, reconnect any wiring, and perform a final test of window operation.
- If the glass binds or rattles, loosen fasteners slightly, adjust alignment, and re-tighten until the movement is smooth and rattle-free.
