Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out any retainers or pull the seal free from the channel.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting channel and surrounding surface with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the door edge to ensure correct orientation and length; trim excess if necessary.
- If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead to the channel or the seal per adhesive manufacturer instructions.
- Press the weatherstrip into the channel starting at one end, working along the length to seat the profile fully; use masking tape to hold in place if needed while adhesive cures.
- Close the door slowly to check fit and alignment; make minor adjustments if needed. Allow adhesive to cure fully before normal use.
