Instructions:
- Lower the window (if power) to a position that allows access to mounting hardware; disconnect the battery as a safety precaution if working near power window components.
- Remove interior door panel and any moisture barrier carefully using trim tools; set fasteners aside in a safe place.
- Support the glass with masking tape, suction cup, or have an assistant hold it in place to prevent dropping when hardware is removed.
- Locate and remove the fasteners securing the old glass hardware and guides; carefully detach the glass from the regulator or mounting points as needed.
- Compare old parts to the replacement PHP DD26 1363 components to confirm correct orientation and fit.
- Install the new hardware and guides, securing fasteners hand-tight initially, then torque to factory specifications where applicable.
- Re-seat the glass into the new hardware, verify smooth travel by operating the regulator slowly (reconnect battery momentarily if needed), and adjust alignment until the glass moves evenly and seals properly.
- Reinstall the moisture barrier and interior door panel, ensuring all clips and screws are properly engaged.
- Perform a final operational check: cycle the window multiple times to confirm smooth, quiet movement and proper sealing.
