A precision-molded glass run channel engineered to guide, seal and support the door glass in 2-door sedans. Designed for left or right hand installation and coded GRB 1210 64, this channel restores proper window alignment, reduces wind noise and prevents glass vibration and wear. Constructed from a durable rubber compound with a reinforced backing, it offers long-lasting performance and straightforward installation for restoration or replacement projects.
Features:
- Fits 2 Door Sedans GRB 1210 64; available for left or right hand door applications.
- Durable rubber compound with reinforced backing resists compression and weathering.
- Guides and seals the door glass to reduce vibration, wind noise and water intrusion.
- Easy to install — designed as a direct replacement for restoration or maintenance work.
- Helps preserve window trim and glass by preventing rubbing and misalignment.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Carefully lower the window glass to a position where the run channel can be accessed.
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim pieces blocking access to the channel (use a trim tool to avoid damage).
- Peel back or remove the old glass run channel: disengage any clips or fasteners and slide the old channel out of the window opening.
- Clean the channel mounting area and window edge of dirt, adhesive residue and old sealant; wipe with a clean rag.
- Apply a light coat of silicone lubricant or soapy water to the new channel’s inner groove to ease installation and prevent pinching of the glass.
- Position the new channel at the top of the window opening and press it into place, working downward and engaging any clips or retaining features as you go.
- Ensure the channel is fully seated and aligned to match the window path; trim excess material only if specified by fitment instructions.
- Carefully raise and lower the window several times to confirm smooth travel and correct alignment; adjust channel seating if needed.
- Reinstall door trim and hardware, secure all fasteners, and perform a final check for wind noise, water sealing and smooth operation.
