Instructions:
- Park on level ground, set the parking brake and open the hood.
- Remove any screws or retainers securing the cowl panel using a socket or screwdriver.
- Use a trim removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver to gently pry up and remove the old or damaged clips.
- Clean the clip mounting holes and surrounding area of debris or rust.
- Align the cowl panel and position the new clip into the mounting hole.
- Push the clip straight in until it snaps or seats fully; use pliers for firm, even pressure if needed.
- Reinstall any screws or retainers removed earlier and verify the cowl panel is flush and secure.
- Close the hood and check for proper fit, reduced vibration, and no gaps that could allow water ingress.
