A direct-fit 10-piece windshield molding clip kit for 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX (PCK-630-90) designed to secure and align the windshield trim for a factory-correct appearance. Each clip replaces worn or broken retainers to prevent wind noise, water intrusion, and trim detachment. Built for durability and reliable retention, the set restores proper fitment during windshield removal/reinstallation or trim restoration projects. Easy to install, these clips help maintain the vehicle’s original fit-and-finish and are ideal for restoration, maintenance, or repair work on Z32 models.
Features:
- Fits 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX (Z32) windshield molding applications.
- 10-piece kit includes all clips needed to replace damaged or missing windshield retainers.
- Constructed from high-strength engineered plastic with plated steel spring elements for secure retention.
- Prevents wind noise and water leaks by restoring correct trim alignment and compression.
- Direct-fit replacement for OEM-style clips to simplify windshield or molding removal and reinstallation.
- Durable, corrosion-resistant components built for long-term service and consistent performance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and protect painted surfaces with tape or a cloth.
- Carefully remove the windshield molding or trim by prying gently with a trim tool or flat-blade screwdriver, working along the edge to free old clips.
- Remove any remaining old clip fragments from the body flange and clean the mating surface with isopropyl alcohol; allow to dry.
- Inspect each new clip and orient it so the spring/retainer faces the body flange and the molded tab aligns with the trim channel.
- Press each clip into the body hole until it snaps into place; use needle-nose pliers or panel clip pliers for firm seating if needed.
- Align the molding over the clips and press the trim onto the clips until you hear or feel each clip engage.
- Check the molding for uniform fitment, and re-tighten or reseat any clips that did not fully engage. Recheck for gaps, wind noise, or loose sections.
