A 60" push-on style door weatherstrip designed for left or right hand door applications. This EPDM rubber seal secures to the door flange to block water, wind, dust and road noise while maintaining a tight, long-lasting fit. Its push-on profile installs quickly without adhesive, making it ideal for restoration projects, replacement maintenance, or upgrading aging seals. Durable, UV- and ozone-resistant construction ensures reliable performance and a professional finish.
Features:
- Fits left or right hand door applications; 60 inches nominal length for common door openings.
- Manufactured from EPDM rubber for excellent weather, UV and ozone resistance.
- Push-on style grips door flange securely—no adhesive required for installation.
- Prevents water intrusion, wind noise, dust and drafts to improve cabin comfort.
- Durable replacement for worn or cracked original weatherstripping in restoration projects.
- Can be trimmed to fit non-standard lengths; compatible with most vehicle door flange profiles.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Instructions:
- Measure the door flange and compare to the 60" seal; trim the seal to length if necessary, leaving a small overlap for a snug fit.
- Clean the door flange thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or mild cleaner and allow to dry.
- If desired, apply a light coat of soapy water or silicone spray to the flange to ease installation.
- Align one end of the weatherstrip with the top of the door flange (or preferred starting point).
- Press the push-on profile onto the flange and work along the length, pushing the base fully onto the flange so the bulb and retention beads seat properly.
- Use a trim tool or wrapped screwdriver to help seat the weatherstrip in tight areas or around corners, taking care not to cut the seal.
- Trim any excess material with scissors or a utility knife and fold or butt the cut end neatly for a clean finish.
- Close the door slowly to check for even compression and to ensure the seal does not interfere with door operation; adjust as needed.
