A complete outer door mirror arm mounting screw set designed for 1947–1969 Chevrolet / GMC pickups, Blazers and Suburbans. These fasteners secure the exterior mirror arm to the door, restoring factory fit and function when original screws are missing, damaged or corroded. Made from high-strength, corrosion-resistant metal, the set provides reliable clamping force and long-term durability. Ideal for restorations and routine maintenance, the screws simplify mirror refitment and help ensure safe, vibration-free mirror mounting.
Features:
  • Fits 1947–1969 Chevrolet / GMC Pickup, Blazer and Suburban models
  • High-strength, corrosion-resistant steel for long service life
  • Restores factory mirror arm mounting and alignment
  • Easy replacement for missing or corroded original hardware
  • Helps reduce mirror vibration and improves driving visibility
  • Perfect for restoration projects and routine maintenance
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Phillips or flathead screwdriver (as required)
  • Socket wrench or small open-end wrench
  • Trim removal tool or panel puller (if needed)
  • Cleaner/degreaser and rag
  • Threadlocker (blue) or anti-seize (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground, turn off ignition and lower window for door access.
  2. Remove the interior door trim or access plate to expose the mirror mounting area, using a trim tool if necessary.
  3. Support the mirror arm from the outside to prevent it from dropping when fasteners are removed.
  4. Remove the old mounting screws and any remaining hardware; inspect and clean the screw holes and mating surfaces with a cleaner/degreaser.
  5. Position the mirror arm in its mounting location and start each new screw by hand to ensure correct thread engagement.
  6. If desired, apply a small amount of blue threadlocker to the screw threads (or anti-seize for easier future removal).
  7. Tighten screws evenly and securely with the appropriate screwdriver or wrench. Avoid over-tightening to prevent distortion of the mirror base or door skin.
  8. Reinstall the interior trim or access plate and check mirror adjustment. Test drive briefly to confirm mirror stability and that no vibration or looseness remains.
