Instructions:

- Place a drain pan under the radiator and open the drain petcock or remove the lower radiator hose to drain coolant to below the heater hose connections.
- Loosen and remove hose clamps from the old heater hoses at the engine and heater core fittings; use pliers for spring clamps or a screwdriver for worm clamps.
- Twist and pull old hoses free; cut if necessary to remove stubborn sections. Dispose of old hoses properly.
- Dry-fitting: compare each new ribbed hose to the removed hose to confirm correct length and orientation.
- Slide hose clamps onto new hoses, push hoses fully onto fittings (heater core and engine ports) and position clamps over the hose bead.
- Tighten clamps securely but avoid over-tightening which can damage the hose or fitting.
- Refill cooling system with the appropriate type and amount of coolant and water per vehicle specifications using a funnel.
- Start the engine, set the heater to high, and allow the system to reach operating temperature while checking for leaks and monitoring coolant level.
